I traveled from Argentina to New York for tourism and decided to buy a bike because I love this sport. I found Mike online and went straight to him. In the end, I didn't buy one bike; I bought two and took them back to Argentina with me.
The condition and care of the bikes is excellent, impeccably packed for transport on the plane.
But above all, I want to highlight Mike's kindness, cordiality, and empathy.
Without even knowing him, he inspired my confidence from the start. He did hundreds of favors for me, and I felt very safe and happy doing business with him.
Brooklyn Carbon is highly recommended.
As title states... Fantastic communication, quick turn around on order, available for discussion before order... I mean this guy rocks. Bike came in the exact condition as advertised, well packaged, no damage.
When i am ready for an upgrade, I will be back
Because I live in Michigan, retired law enforcement, and keenly aware of all the scams on various other sites (Market place, etc.) I was skeptical. However, after days of combing the internet, I could not find one negative thing about Mike or BCBC- So I took a chance- What a great experience!! I spoke to Mike a few times- he was very attentive and great to work with. Once I agreed to purchasing the 2022 Roubaix on a Sunday, it was on my front porch on Thursday- in 4 days! NO issues at all- a quality Bike at a fair price! (actually, a really good price). Highly recommend.
If you are searching for someone who embodies passion, expertise, and integrity in the world of bicycles, look no further than Mike. My experience with him was nothing short of exceptional, and I feel compelled to share just how impactful his knowledge and approach are to anyone considering a bicycle purchase.
Mike's expertise is unparalleled. Whether you're discussing Trek, Specialized, Giant, or any other renowned manufacturer, Mike has an in-depth understanding of what sets each brand apart. He doesn't just sell bicycles—he educates. He takes the time to explain the nuances of different frame types, sizes, and materials, ensuring that you fully understand the options available. From aluminum to carbon fiber, and from road bikes to mountain bikes, Mike provides insights that help you make an informed decision tailored to your needs.
One of the highlights of my interaction with Mike was his explanation of Shimano Group Sets. His knowledge of these components was astounding. He broke down the differences between various models with ease and clarity, offering valuable insights into their functionality and performance. It was clear that he wasn’t merely reciting information; he genuinely cared that I understood the technical aspects of the bicycle I was considering.
What truly sets Mike apart, however, is his moral compass. In a world where many sellers focus solely on making a sale, Mike stands out as someone who prioritizes your best interests. He’s not just trying to sell you a bicycle; he’s committed to helping you find the right bicycle. His honesty and sincerity are rare qualities that make him a pillar of the biking community.
You can browse Facebook Marketplace and eBay for hours and perhaps find a great deal on a bicycle, but you won’t find someone like Mike. His passion for teaching, combined with his extensive knowledge and integrity, make him an invaluable resource. He is a scholar and a gentleman, someone who approaches every interaction with kindness, patience, and a genuine desire to help.
Mike is more than a seller; he’s a mentor, an advocate, and a friend to anyone seeking sincere advice about bicycles. If you’re looking for guidance on your cycling journey, I can confidently say you won’t find anyone better than Mike. He truly is a treasure in the biking world, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have learned from him.
Spent 3 hours with Mike looking for 2 bikes for my sons, who are just getting into the sport. They weren’t expecting to leave with 2 bikes, but how could they not. First, Mike had a HUGE selection of bikes (various brands, all with upgraded components) … they were able to “test drive” about 5, 6 bikes each. He was SO patient and even gave them a tutorial on the different bikes. Mike gave off a trustworthy vibe and you can tell he knows his stuff and stands by his products. You feel his enthusiasm for the sport. We bought a Trek Emonda and a Specialized Roubaix. Would recommend that anyone who is looking for a pre-loved bike reach out to him.
