I’ve purchased two bikes from Mike - a Specialized SL6 last year for myself and a Cannondale Synapse this year for my girlfriend. Both times were a 10/10 experience. Mike is knowledgeable, straightforward, and clearly cares about getting you on the right bike rather than just making a sale. First, he was very flexible. Despite my rescheduling our first meeting twice, he always replied sensibly and with compassion (I flew to the US from another part of the world). Second, which stood out even more profoundly to me, he thoroughly responded to all my questions, spending almost 1 hour explaining every detail one should be mindful of when purchasing a bike (the sign of a seasoned cycling enthusiast).

Lastly, be very cautious - you are about to obtain a good friend. Here are at least two reasons why: 1. Mike has never rejected any of my requests (whether it's a bike-related (bike fit, shop) or other suggestions (in my case, advice regarding obtaining a mortgage) and always gave a valuable response; 2. The service was truly personalized, as Mike helped me not only be prepared for my first Half Ironman but also helped me pack the bike for my flight back (taking into consideration allowable suitcase requirements).
